They’ve had people like Calvin Harris, La Roux and Artic Monkeys playing on their stage. Aside from regular events, they also have popular nights like Bubbleluv on Mondays.

If you’re looking for a different night out to enjoy and play games with your friends, then Boom Battle Bar is the perfect place! You can choose from Axe Throwing, Crazier Golf, Augmented Reality Darts, Beer Pong and Shuffleboard!They have a great bar with a variety of cocktails, shooters, and mocktails. If you get hungry, you can also grab a Boom Bite. They have wings, hotdogs , nachos and much more.

The Botanist is a perfect place if you’re looking for a chill night with your friends and just want to grab some drinks. The place is really beautiful and worth a couple of photos!
The  place offers 2 for £15 cocktails, and £15 bottles of Prosecco or Wine on happy hour. Mon- Fri between 4pm -7pm . They also have live music for you to enjoy!

• Dhillon’s Spire Bar

Dhillon’s Spire Bar is an award-winning bar and brewery located in a former church spire on New Union Street. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating and offers a lovely atmosphere. They have live music, quiz nights and comedy nights.
There’s a selection of cocktails for you to try! It’s open till 1am every Friday and Saturday with live music and DJs playing a vast array of songs to get you in the mood!

• HMV Empire

To end Coventry University – guide to going out we have The HMV Empire. HMV Empire is an award-winning nightlife and live-music venue in Coventry City Centre. It’s also the place where a lot of socials of university clubs are held as well as Students’ Union nights!
The venue capacity is 900 so you’ll meet tons of like-minded people within the student community with their main room, balcony, and bar area to explore!
Ed Sheeran and other amazing artists have previously performed at this club, so keep your eyes open for upcoming events!
